Over the past thirteen years of my administration, I have focused municipal efforts on ensuring that our services are provided for economically, and that we continue to improve those services without large increases in our budget. While creating the City budget, I have not overlooked what I consider our greatest investment in the City’s future. Education is a primary concern to residents of Stamford, and I have continued to provide the Board of Education with an average annual increase of 5.5%. This designated money allows them to address No Child Left Behind mandates as well as to expand educational facilities.
