Licensing by the State of Connecticut sets standards for child care, primarily focusing on the child's safety.

Accreditation comes from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and focuses on curriculum, the environment and the healthy development of children, significantly increasing the likelihood that our School Readiness Program will be a strong, quality program.

The School Readiness program completed the NAEYC process. All other relevant CLC programs have received NAEYC accreditation.

The Child Care Center, Inc. operates day care, Child Care, Early Head start, Head Start, School Readiness, nutrition, health, parent involvement, and family literacy programs for children in Stamford and the Lower Fairfield County area between birth and five years old.
