The Ferguson Library
Stamford's premier public library, the library offers free access to print, audiovisual, and evolving electronic resources, and supports childhood education and lifelong learning through reading and other forms of communication by addressing the informational, educational, cultural, and literacy needs of the Stamford community.

The Stamford Public School system consists of 12 elementary schools, five middle schools, and three high schools.
Care 4 Kids
Care 4 Kids helps low to moderate income families in Connecticut pay for child care costs. This program is sponsored by the State of Connecticut's Department of Social Services (also called DSS).

2-1-1 Infoline
An integrated system of help via the Internet and telephone operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As a single source for information about community services, referrals to human services, and crisis intervention it is accessed toll-free from anywhere in Connecticut by simply dialing 2-1-1. Multilingual caseworkers and TDD access is available.
William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund
The William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund works collaboratively to improve education for Connecticut’s children.
Connecticut Voices for Children
This group is dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth through high-quality research and public policy analyses. It also consists of an active communications program, a commitment to promoting youth leadership and youth voice, and effective citizen mobilization and organizational collaboration.
Connecticut Parent Power
A statewide parent action network that strengthens the voices of parents on the many statewide decisions that affect our children and families.
National Association for the Education of Young Children
The NAEYC is a national organization dedicated to the improvement of early care education centers, the professionalization of child care workers through training and education and advocacy for early child education and care.
State Education Resource Council (SERC)
This organization is a resource for parents, teachers and other professional who work with children. SERC is home to the education library for the state, and puts on many professional development events and conferences throughout the year.
Birth to Three
This is a place to go if you are concerned about the development of a child under the age of three years old. They provide services, resources and referrals for families and professionals.
