Description of Programs

1. Trailblazer Academy Charter Middle School- Serves 150 Students Grades 6 - 8 who are not succeeding academically or behaving in a traditional school setting.

2. Stamford Academy Charter High School-Serves 130 students Grades 9 – 12 and is based on the Trailblazers model.

3. Lion’s Den After School Program- Serves 90 students of trailblazer Academy with tutoring, homework help, recreation, intramural sports and a variety of other enrichment activities.

4. Chester Addison Community Center, a community center serving Stamford's Waterside neighborhood and a public housing development with over 400 youth and 250 families.

5. Domus Middle School Summer Camp, a collaborative summer day camp for over 150 middle schoolers operated in partnership with Person-to-Person.

6. Three residential programs (Domus House group home, Passages transitional living home, and Bridges supervised apartment living), serving approximately 30 young men and women ages 12 to 23 who are unable to live at home or have no home., focusing on life skills and education.

7. Domus Training Institute for Youth Advocacy & Family Development, a training institute, providing family and professional development sessions to community members, parents, and in-house staff as well as other Connecticut youth-serving nonprofits.

8. The Connector, a mentoring program for youth in Domus programs.

9. The Prison Visitation Program, which takes children and families four times a month to Enfield- and Niantic-area prisons, allowing children with incarcerated parents to stay connected.

10. ARTS, an educational program operated with the Stamford Public Schools to support expelled or excluded students.

11. Juvenile Review Board, a collaborative project with the Mayor's Youth Services Bureau and the Stamford Police Department that allows first-time misdemeanor juvenile offenders to maintain a clear record by meeting conditions set by the board.

12. Project Hope, a street outreach program that helps disconnected individuals reconnect with vital community resources.

13. Forest Street, a career, job, and mentorying center for youth and families.
