Description of Programs
|
|
The Fairfield County Community Foundation (FCCF) is a funder of out of school time programs, including many in Stamford. As part of our long-term commitment to the after school field, we host and convene the Fairfield County After School Network (FCASN). FCASN is a regional peer learning network for after school intermediaries located in Bridgeport, Danbury, Norwalk and Stamford. The CT After School Network is our facilitator. FCCF aso is committed to girls program, via our FCCF Fund for Women and Girls. In a partnership with RYASAP in Bridgeport, we fund Raising The Bar. Raising The Bar is a peer learning network for youth-serving organizations in Fairfield County, which operates girls programs or are interested in launching girls programs. FCCF also offers a large portfolio of college scholarships for high school students and provides capacity building services for the Fairfield County nonprofit sector via FCCF Center for Nonprofit Excellence.
