Description of Programs

Services provided in the Health Centers are as follows:
    · Physical Examinations and Sports Physicals· Treatment of acute illnesses and injuries
    · Management of Chronic Diseases i.e., Asthma, Diabetes & Sickle Cell Anemia
    · Simple Laboratory Testing such as Strep tests and Urine Analysis
    · Diagnosis and treatment of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Pregnancy Testing (in adolescent sites only)
    · Individual, family and group counseling
    · Health Education through group sessions, classroom presentations and school wide wellness events.
    · HIV Counseling and Testing
    · Dental Services K-12 at Westhill Clinic (by appointment)
