Important Notice - To City of Stamford Vendors

Effective May 1, 2008, the City of Stamford Purchasing Department will activate a new software program that will provide electronic bid solicitation services and award notifications.

It will also allow registered vendors to search for and download bid documents, bid results and award notices directly from our web site.

In order for your company to use this service and be kept informed of bid opportunities and changes in bid conditions, you will be required to register your company online by using a valid email address and a password (that you will provide).

The registration procedure requires that you to go to the City of Stamford's Online Bid Management System .  Registration directions are posted on this site but are also available for download here . These directions will contain appropriate step by step instructions for logging onto the new system using your email address and your unique password.

If you experience problems with logging onto the new software program, please call 203-977-4994 between 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Purchasing staff will assist you in the process.

Since this is a new system, all vendors, even current registered vendors must register electronically to access bid information . If you do not have access to a computer or do not have an e-mail address, accommodations will be made to assist you in the process. Thank you for your cooperation during this transition period.
