Engineering Bureau is responsible for the administration of design, construction and inspection of
Stamford owned bridges that require rehabilitation and replacement. Several
Stamford bridges have also been rehabilitated utilizing the Engineering Bureau’s in-house design staff. Example of bridge construction projects are:
 Replacement of Farms Road Bridge over the Rippowam River (Completed in Summer 2009)
Replacement of Buckingham Drive Bridge over the Rippowam River (Completed in May 2005)
Replacement of Studio Road Bridge over the Rippowam River (Completed in August 2005)
