The City Engineer and Assistant City Engineer have the responsibility of overseeing four divisions : Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Building Inspections, Traffic Maintenance and Parking Management, and managing a diversified professional staff.
The Bureau uses in-house resources, private consultants and contractors to perform design, construction, and inspection services related to streets, roadways, sewers, storm drainage, traffic signals, street lighting, mechanical systems, bridges, schools, and other public buildings, facilities and structures.
