Chief Nivakoff Promotes four to the rank of Sergeant

Chief Nivakoff and the Police Commission have approved the promotion of four Sergeants.
 
In a ceremony held at the police department on 13 December 2011, Richard Gasparino, Richard Barbagallo, Sean McGowan and Sean Scanlan were promoted to Sergeant.  The officer's have been with the department between 13 to 15 years and their experiences include the Patrol Division, the Bureau of Criminal Investigations, the Youth Bureau and Narcotics and Organized Crime.  All four will be assuming new duties in the near future.  Congratulations!
