The Senior Outreach Coordinator’s job is to provide assistance to older individuals which will enable them to remain safe, healthy, independent and financially stable to the fullest extent possible. The Coordinator is responsible for providing immediate short term counseling, referral assistance and problem resolution, whenever possible, to senior adults with a variety of circumstances which include health, housing, abuse, transportation, employment and a host of other issues. The Coordinator works closely with The Commission on Aging, Health Department, Senior Center, Police Department, State Social Services, Housing Managers, and community organizations and agencies. |
