Pound Around Town

On Sunday, February 8th, from 11 AM to 4:30 PM, volunteers from Stamford Animal Care & Control will host a “Have a Heart” fund-raiser at Natural Pet Supply, 1000 Hope Street, Stamford. The public is invited to come learn about the dogs, cats, and other animals currently available for adoption, and ways in which they may support the Shelter through volunteer opportunities and tax-deductible donations to its non-profit organization, OPIN, Inc.  Tee shirts and handmade cat toys will be available for sale, and donations of food and other items purchased from Natural Pet Supply to help the Shelter animals will be gratefully accepted.  Call the store for directions:  203-323-4480.  Visit the shelter at: www.cityofstamford.org/animalcontrol.
