Barley is a 4-year-old, well-mannered boy whose previous owners could not be bothered with him. Barley is a SWEET gentleman who happens to have lupus, ergo his red nose. Lupus is not contagious, gives Barley a red nose and is easily controlled with a pill given every day with his meal. His pills cost $7.80 per month and OPIN is prepared to send Barley home with a "trust" that would cover their cost for the rest of his life. And even if he did not have the "trust," Barley's smile is worth MUCH more than that!
The love and happiness that Barley will bring to your life cannot be measured in dollars and cents. However, if they could be measured, the return on your investment would be off the charts! Barley is looking for a home where he can be the only pet, as he has enough love to go around...for sure. He weighs 52 lbs. and is 18" shoulder height. He LOVES to go on long relaxing walks. Can you see yourself strolling through the park with Barley during a warm summer afternoon? We weren't quite sure what Barley's breed was, so we had a DNA test run on him. It turns out he is: level 2: Chinese Shar-Pei; level 3: pug; level 4: Bernese mountain dog; level 5: boxer.
