Cat of The Month: Smokey

Just when you think your life is going well, things get turned upside down.  That’s what happened to Smokey, a 14 year-old girl who lost her home when her owner ran into personal problems and could not care for her and her two sisters.
But Smokey is the most needy of all due to her age.  The shelter is a very strange and scary place for a senior cat that has known nothing but the comforts and peace of a home all her life.

We want Smokey to find a lasting home real soon so she does not suffer any longer.  If you can give Smokey a nice warm bed, food and love so she can live out her remaining days in peace, please stop by to visit Smokey, any day of the week.
The shelter is open every single day, including holidays, from 8 am to 4 pm.  We are also open till 7:30 pm on Wednesday nights.
